How to download .cut files

To download a .cut file from my blog look for words that are a different color than the other text. Click on that and it will bring up a download window. You can have it open in Design Studio, which you will have to have closed before downloading, OR...my preferred method - do a "save to file". I am not sure where the file will go on your computer but mine go to a download folder where I then move it to my Cricut Projects folder in My Documents.

Files are for personal use only.

All files are free. I will gladly accept appreciation donations of any amount, see donate button.

What do you do with your cards?

Was a question I was asked Friday night as an acquaintance of mine thumbed through my stash of cards I have made. I told her "I stick them in that box you are going through". She looked at me like I had 3 heads and 9 eyes! She told me "GIRL YOU NEED TO BE SELLIN THESE CARDS".

That is not the first time I have been told that and I know many of you have been told that also. But I just keep thinking if I can make the card anyone can so why would anyone buy my cards *okie thinks people who do not paper craft are very deluded about what is good and what is not*.

I can't help but thinking about cards.......all the time it seems. I am sitting here typing this and thinking about the Bo Bunny Popsicle line and what kind card I can make from it. I will figure it out........make at least 6 cards out of some of the paper. And then when I am done what will I do? PUT THEM IN THE STUPID BOX!

At least I think I have sparked the interest of my friend Andrea. She was over last night for a little while and I told her "lets make a card". She kinda had a terrified look in her eye *which okie actually took some glee in....sick person that okie is* but I told her it was okay I already had everything cut out, she would just have to put the pieces together. She actually enjoyed it!! She doesn't feel like she made the card since I had the pieces cut. I told her she did all the inking and shading so she did make the card.....and besides I didn't cut the pieces the Cricut did! *okie smiles one of those big cheesy smiles*. Now maybe she will come play with me more.

Okie, you are so funny. You probably should sell your cards.

When I get more that I'll ever use in my box, I send some off to Cards for Soldiers. I also like to give them as gifts (I usually give a set of 6 or so).

I get the same thing. People tell me to sell my cards. I say, sell cards in bundle packs. Then you have extra money.

Sounds like you're enableing a whole nother type of crafter- the non-crafter. Luring them in with "look how easy it is" and then before you know it they're buying a Cricut and hording paper! I know your type, I am your type! My aunt bught some Primas from me just to display the bottle!

LOL...it sounds like we all put them in a box rather than give them away or sell them! I put them in my box and tell myself I'm keeping them in case I ever want to make one just like it and give away!

I do all sorts of things with my cards but yes they do sit in a box or bag. I decided the other day that I would start sending them to children in hospitals. Amazing that there are so few programs out there. You can see my links on my blog if you are interested. http://mycardshack.blogspot.com.

I think you should sell your cards to ... they are adorable!

Okie,

My mom started doing something really cool and now I am doing it too. When she sends me a homemade card, she puts a loose piece of cardstock with her message inside of the card. I get to enjoy the card and since she did not actually write inside of the card I get to send it to someone else to enjoy. Isn't that a great idea?

Okie,
You make great cards but I hate to make cards. Give me layouts any day! Have you thought about Etsy?
